Methodology of dynamic compaction:
The most critical aspect is the distribution of the impacts and the sequence of the application, for the compaction of deeper zones. One complete coverage of the area is called as a phase, in each phase a increment in the impact is applied. The deeper layers are compacted by early stages as these have high energy pulses. The depth of compressible strata is directly linked with the spacing between the impacts of this phase; in fact they are mostly equal to the depth of the compressible strata. And other important part is ironing phase this include the high impact phases followed by the low impact phases the purpose of designing these phases is to compact the layers to the ground level.
