Definition of Contract and Contractor

A construction contract may be defined as,

An agreement between two parties such that it is enforceable by the law and must be agreed.

Or

The negotiation between owner and contractor for the cost control.

Contractor :

The term contractor comes from the legal agreement. There will be a legal agreement between the owner and the builder. A contractor may be a builder but a builder may or may not be a contractor.
