The type of cement which is used in where soil or water having more sulphates of various mineralsis known as Sulphate Resisting Cement.
Its rate of developing strength is very low.
If the Sulphates are more than 400 Ppm ( parts per million) then Sulphate Resisting Cement is used instead of ordinary Portland Cement.
